Proud Mary's Restaurant: A Harbor Haven for Delicious American Cuisine

Met up with friends again on a beautiful afternoon. They serve breakfast and lunch here. I enjoyed their BBQ chicken chopped salad the last time I was here I had to have it again. I always order the dressing on the side since I don't like my lettuce drowning in dressing and the salad was just as yummy as I remember. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Definitely want to return here to try breakfast and their avocado tuna salad sandwich.

Service was on point. Chill atmosphere. Food was yummy. Right on the harbor. Kid friendly.

I have been coming to Proud Mary's almost every weekend for the better part of three years, and that's why this review is five stars, because Proud Mary's is always consistent. Heather and Morgan are always absolute dolls and have always taken great care of me, my friends, and my family when we go. My current favorite is the Country Benedict with the Home Fries well done. Country Benedict is when you can't decide between biscuits and gravy or eggs Benedict. Anyhow, I will NEVER COME BACK ON A SUNDAY. Tiffany, my server I've had once before, walked by me without saying a word (literally counted it) twenty three times. I'm not one to complain, but I eventually got up from my table, flagged down Heather and actually got my order placed after sitting for thirty minutes. Unfortunately, my food came out lukewarm at best. An actual shocker from Proud Mary's. Typically the food is out piping hot, and the potatoes literally burn my mouth if I eat one seconds after getting my plate. Finally got my hot meal and a second drink (no thanks to Tiffany, I flagged down the hostess) and it was as delicious as always. I then ask for my check in which, Tiffany, tosses my check onto my table and says "I'm sorry you were so mad at me for something that's not my fault!" Well, Tiffany, I've never asked to have my order taken from any other server before. Don't let this review turn you away, Proud Mary's and all the staff are fantastic, Tiffany, is not.

Really nice restaurant fast service lots of seating. I love their close patio with great views of the harbor and glass that closes out completely with space heaters which keep you nice and toasty on the cold mornings. The food potions were quite large and more than enough .

We met on a foggy Friday morning. Because of construction, one of us did walk a distance. Just keep driving forward and you will be able to park in the lot shared by four restaurants. I had the delicious Doheny omelette. Gorgeous to see and eat. I'm going to cook it like they do. The raw spinach leaves are laid in the mostly set egg (which gently cooks them). It's filled with mushrooms , cheese, and bacon. One of my friends has special requests. (We all have that one person). All of which were honored readily and graciously. What a nice place to hang out with friends. I think we were sitting there for more than an hour chatting. Nobody hurrying us along. The views were lovely when we left and the fog had lifted. We will return.

Great food! Great service! Our server was Valerie, and we got our food and drinks within 15 minutes of sitting down...and it was a busy Sunday morning. Super impressed!

Had a wonderful breakfast at Proud Mary's this morning. My wife and I both had omelets and they were hot and tasty. Sara was our server extraordinare and was friendly, kind and professional. The ambiance and view was quite nice and the bloody Mary's were fantastic. Great breakfast spot and truly enjoyed our dining experience. Highly recommended

Steve is the owner! Ashley was amazing waitress! Great outside patio! Great menu, nice staff. Delicious breakfast menu. I ordered custom breakfast burrito! Open bar! Great place!

Our go to breakfast place when camping at Doheny. When we walked in from day one, we're always greeted and made to feel welcomed. Right on the harbor boardwalk, we enjoy sitting outside to watch the boats. The food is nothing less than perfect! Great hollandaise on my eggs Benedict, tender flavorful ham and fabulous home fries. This ham is so superior that I wouldn't trade it for Canadian bacon if I could. Hubby gets the Captain Jack and is a bacon aficionado. He raves about it everytime! We love Proud Marys!

I'm always torn as to what to get every time I come! Always love the lunch burrito with steak or shrimp, burger is good, but went with the tuna melt again. I cannot resist it! Came here and sat at a table on the patio. You've gotta get here early or it's a long wait, however, if you do need to wait you can get a cocktail and look at the gorgeous view of the harbor! Drinks are always consistent, the spiked coffee drinks are delicious. Service is always awesome! Thank you for another year of yumminess!
